Hi ,

If p , P are perimeters of two similar

triangles and A1 and A2 are their

corresponding areas then

( A1/A2 ) = ( p/P )²

=> ( A1/A2 ) = ( 20cm/30cm)²

=> ( A1/A2 ) = ( 2/3 )²

=> ( A1/A2 ) = 4/9

Therefore ,

A1 : A2 = 4 : 9
