the perimeter of two squares are 192 cm and 36 cm. find the perimeter of a square whose area is equal to the sum of the areas of these two squares.
(hint:- answer is 200 cm or 2 m)

according to your question the answer will be 192 cm.

after a little correction in your question the answer will be 200 cm.

when the perimeter of one square will be 56 cm instead of 36 cm.

Length of a side of square having perimeter 192 = 192/4 = 48 cm

Similarly, length of side of square with perimeter 56 = 56/4 = 14 cm

Since area of a square = (side)²,

Total area of both squares = 48² + 14²

= 2500 cm²

Let side of square whose perimeter is to be found be x cm

Then, according to given question

x² = 2500

X = 50 cm

Therefore, it's perimeter is equal to 50×4 = 200cm
