Answer:

Square 1=52m(perimeter)

Therefore ...side=52/4=13cm

Area=side×side=13×13=169

Square 2=326m(perimeter)

Therefore side=81.5cm

Area=side×side=81.5×81.5=66,422.5

Now...area of bigger square=66,422.5+169

=66,591.5

Side of bigger square=(66,591.5)^1/2

=258 m

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:-

the perimeter of two squares are 52m and 326m.

To find:-

Find the length of the side of the square whose area is equal to the sum of the areas of the two squares.

Solution:-

Perimeter of the first square(P1)=52m

Perimeter of the second square(P2)=326m

We know that perimeter of the square=4×side units

=>Side of the square =Perimeter/4 units

=>Side of the first square=52/4=13 m

Area of the square =side×side sq.units

=>Area of the first square

=>A1=13×13

=>A1=169 sq.m------(1)

Side of the second square=326/4

=>81.5 m

Area of the second square

(A2)=81.5×81.5

=>A2=6642.25 sq.m------(2)

According to the given problem,

area is equal to the sum of the areas of the two squares.

A=A1+A2

=>A=169+6642.25

=>A=6811.25 sq.m

Now side of the new square

= >6811.25

=>82.53 m(approximately)

Answer:-

Side of the new square=82.53 m
