let the perimeter of 1st square = 60
4a= 60
a= 60/4
a= 15
so,area= a²
= (15)²
= 625
and,the perimeter of 2nd square = 144
4A= 144
A= 144/4
= 36
so,area = A²
= (36)²
= 1296
so,the perimetre of new square formed = 625+1296
=1921
