hey the answer is D) 16 to 81
area of square = a²
so 4² = 16 and
9² = 81
area of square = a²
so 4² = 16 and
9² = 81

Let the common multiple be x .
Perimeter of square 1 = 4 x
Perimeter of square 2 = 9 x
Ratio.
square 1 / square 2 = 4x / 9x
4 × side 1 / 4 × side 2 = 4x / 9x
side 1 / side 2 = 4/9
side 1 = 4 and side 2 = 9
Ratio of area = (side 1)²/ (side 2)²
= (4)²/(9)²
= 16 / 81
Therefore correct option is D .
