Let the equal sides are x and third side is 3x/2

P = x + x + 3x/2

42 = 2x + 3x /2

42 = 7x /2

84/7 = x

x = 12

3x/2 = (3 × 12)/2 = 18

Sides of triangle are 12 , 12 ,18
