the perimeterof a square field and a rectangle field are the same .if one side of the rectangle field is 18 m and one side of the square field is 15 m, find: (1) the area of the rectangle field and (2) the total area of both the field​

perimeter of square field =4×side

=15×4

=60cm

perimeter of rectangular field=2(l+b)

60 cm=2(18+b)

18+b=60÷2

18+b=30

b=30-18

b=12

1 . area of rectangular field=l×b

= 18×12

=216square cm

2 . area of rectangular field =216 square cm

area of square field=side ×side

=15×15

=225 square cm

total area of both field=area of rectangular field+area of square field

=216 + 225

=441 cm square
