If two triangles are similar then ratio of the perimeters of the triangles is equal to the ratio of their corresponding sides.

Let the required side be 'x

Following this theorem, just plug the values

$= \frac{\cancel3\cancel0}{\cancel2\cancel0} </h2><h2> = \frac{12}{x} </h2><h2>\\ = \frac{3}{2} </h2><h2> = \frac{12}{x} \\ = x = \frac{\cancel2\cancel4}{\cancel3} \\ = x = 8$

So required value of the corresponding side is 8 cm
