GIVEN :- ABC and PQR are respectively 36 cm and 24 cm .

PQ = 10 cm

AB = ?

The ratio of corresponding sides of similar triangles is same as the ratio of their perimeters.

∴ ΔABC ≅ ΔPQR

AB/PQ = BC/QR = AC/PR = 36/24

AB/PQ = 36/24

AB/10 = 36/24

AB = 36 × 10/24 cm

AB = 15 cm.
