perimeter = a + b + c  \div 2

perimeter = 40 + 35 + 16 \div 2

perimeter = 91 \div 2

perimeter = 41.5

by \: herons \: formula

 \sqrt{(s - a)(s - b)(s - c)}

 \sqrt{(41.5 - 40)(41.5 - 35)(41.5 - 16)}

(41.5 \times 10 - 40)(41.5 \times 10 - 35)(41.5 - \times 10 - 16)
