area of triangle ABC=1/2×12×h=6h cm²
or
perimeter of the triangle= 2+h
 2+h=x+x+12
 2+h=2x+12
 h=2x+10
BC=12 cm
BD= 6 cm ( since isocleles triangle  the altitude on the base is also the median of the triangle )

in triangle ADB,
x=  \sqrt{H^{2} +6^{2}

AREA OF TRIANGLE ABC=1/2×BASE×HEIGHT+1/2×12× \sqrt{H^{2} +6^{2}

area of triangle = 6 \sqrt{H^{2} +6^{2} cm²
