Let the breadth of pool be x m.

Then its length will be (3x + 4) m

Perimeter of rectangle = 2 ( l + b)

168 = 2(3x + 4 + x) \\  \\  \frac{168}{2}  = 4x + 4 \\  \\ 84 = 4x + 4 \\  \\ 84 - 4 = 4x \\  \\ 80 = 4x \\  \\ x =  \frac{80}{4}  \\  \\ x = 20 \: m

Breadth = x = 20 m

Length = 3x + 4

= 3 (20) + 4

= 64 m
