Perimeter: 120 cm

let one side be

x

let the adjacent side be

x + 9

we know that,

"opposite sides of parallelogram are equal"

therefore, there will be 2 sides with length

x

and 2 sides with length

x + 9

therefore, we get this equation:

x  + x + x + 9 + x + 9 = 120

(because perimeter is 120)

x + x + x + 9 + x + 9 = 120 \\ 4x + 18 = 120 \\ 4x = 120 - 18 \\ 4x = 102 \\ x = 102 \div 4 \\ x = 24

as x=24,

we can now find the lengths of the sides of the parallelogram.

the sides are:

x=24

x=24

x+9=24+9=33

x+9=24+9=33

therefore the sides are: 24cm, 24cm, 33cm, 33cm

hope it helped!!
