if p is the period of a function f(x)
=> f(x + p) = f(x)
Period of cosθ is 2π
Period of cos ( bθ) = 2π/b
hence period of cos 5θ = 2π/5
period of cos 5θ is 2π/5
As
Cos(5θ + 2π) = Cos(5θ)
5θ + 2π = 5 (θ + 2π/5 )
=> Cos (5 (θ + 2π/5) = Cos (5 θ)
Hence period of Cos 5θ is 2π/5
