The period of oscillation of a simple pendulum depends on the length L, of the pendulum, mass m, of the Bob and the acceleration due to gravity g.
Using dimensional analysis, find the equation relating T, L, M and g

Answer:

the time period or period of oscillation does not depend on the mass of Bob

 {t}^{2}  = 4 \times  {\pi}^{2}  \times (l \div g)

where

t=time period

l=effective length of pendulum (length of string+radius of bob)

g=acceleration due to gravity
