f(x) = sin⁴x + cos⁴x
here you see sin⁴x and cos⁴x both are positive .
so, period of sin⁴x + cos⁴x
= 1/2{ LCM of ( sin⁴x , cos⁴x)}
= 1/2{ LCM of { π, π}}
= 1/2 π
= π/2
Note :- period of sin⁴x = π
and period of cos⁴x =π
here you see sin⁴x and cos⁴x both are positive .
so, period of sin⁴x + cos⁴x
= 1/2{ LCM of ( sin⁴x , cos⁴x)}
= 1/2{ LCM of { π, π}}
= 1/2 π
