The perpendicular sides of a right angle triangle are 18cm and 80cm.

Find its area​

Answer:

Since, it is a Right Angle Triangle.

By Pythagoras theorem,

H^2 = B^2 + P^2

H^2 = 18^2 + 80^2

H^2 = 324 + 6400

H^2 = 6724

H= 82 cm.

Now, Perimeter of triangle = 80 + 82 + 18

= 180 cm.  

Now, Area of Triangle= 1/2 × base × height

= 1/2 × 18 × 80

= 9 × 80

= 720cm^2.
