Since,they read so much books their eyes need to adapt to the surroundings which in turn causes myopia.

i.e They see near objects clearly but not far-away objects.

• In myopia, light rays entering the eyes converge too quickly and are focused before reaching the retina, preventing the image from being formed on the retina.

Symptoms of myopia:

• People with reading disorders are more likely to have other learning difficulties.
• Inability to communicate effectively.

As a result, people who read a lot are more likely to have myopia.
