We can apply a Iodine test.

• Take out the chlorophyll from the leaves by heating it in alcohol, then put iodine solution on that if its color changed to blue black then starch is present in the leaf

OR

Pluck out the leaves from a plant, if you find something white substance that is starch and this also means that photosynthesis was happening in the plant.
