A.P. can be 27,27,27.....

with a=27 and d=0

if we solve this by--

3rd term + 10th term = 5th term + 2nd term
a+2d + a+9d = a+4d + a+d
2a-2a = - 5d + 11d
0 = 6d ----------------(i)

now, we are given a+6d = 27
so, d = 27-a/6 ---------(1)

putting eq (1) in (i)
we get
a= 27 and d=0

Arey: sry but I think that it's wrong
riteshgupta210papxse: but here a2-a1 = a3-a2 and by this it can be said that the 27,27,27..... is in AP
Arey: if we take 0=6d then 0/6=d then if it's 0/6 then it's not possible because 0/6= not defined
riteshgupta210papxse: and its not compulsary that (d) can ≠ 0
riteshgupta210papxse: i will check about this and redo the question ....
Arey: okay
Arey: yup this is right
Arey: sry I think that d can't be equal to zero here
riteshgupta210papxse: ya the answer is right
Arey: yup I got to know now
