A man completed trip of 136 km in 8 hrs.some part of trip was covered at 15 km/hr and remaining at 18 km/hr.find the part of the trip covered at 18km/hr​

Distance=136 km

Time=8 hr

Let the time travelled at 15 km/hr(T1) be x hr

the time travelled at 18 km/hr(T2) = 8-x hr

d1=15x km

d2=18(8-x) km

15x+18(8-x)=136

15x+144-18x=136

3x=144-136

3x=8

x=8/3

T2=8-8/3=(24-8)/3=16/3

d2=18*16/3=6*16=96 km
