The salt is baking soda (NaHCO3 sodium bicarbonate)
NH3+H2O+CO2 -> NH4HCO3
NH4HCO3+NaCl -> NaHCO3 + NH4Cl
Uses:
1.It is used as an antacid.
2.It is used as a fire extinguisher.
