the pH of a soil A is 7.5while that of soil B is 4.5 . Which of the two soils A or B should be treated with powdered chalk to adjust it s pH & why??

soil b should be treated with chalk because it is strongly acidic . so adding chalk which is basic will nullify the effect thus making it suitable for cultivation
