Soil B should be treated with quick lime . When soil becomes too acidic ,root growth and plant development suffer when soils become too acid because nutrients needed for plant growth are pushed out.

as you know pH 8=bsic in nature
and. pH=4 is acidic in nature
and we know acidity can harm our soil
so pH=4 acidic soil is treated with cao quick lime....
because to convert into basic medium..
