The more acidic asolution the greater the hydrogen ion concentration and thelower the pH; a pH of 7.0 indicates neutrality; a pHof less than 7 indicates acidity, and a pH of morethan 7 indicates alkalinity

ANSWER..

pH value lower than 7 indicates it's an alkali....
and ascending in value the strength of increasing alkali is indicated.
