The PH of our stomach is less than 7 because of secretion of hydrochloric acid (HCL) in our stomach. HCL helps in digestion of food without harming the stomach. When PH is less than 7 it means the substance is acidic in nature, if the PH is more than 7 then it means the substance is basic in nature
