The ph of rainwater collected in a certain region of a country on a particular day was 5.23 calculate h+ ion concentration of rainwater .

pH of rainwater collected = 5.23

Let h + ion concentration of rainwater = u mole / liter .

then pH = -log x

5.23 = - log x

x = 10

=5.883×10-⁶ mole/liter
