Soil B(pH = 4.5) is acidic and should be treated with powdered chalk.

NOTE : soil with pH < 7 is acid and pH > 7 is basic.

This powder(chalk) if added or mixed in proper quantity will increase the pH of the soil to make it neutral. This increases the quality of the soil and plants will grow much better than before.
