If the pH of mouth is lower than 5.5 then

the tooth enamel will start decaying
which is made of calcium phosphate and it is the hardest substance in the human body .
it can't dissolve in water but can be corroded by bacteria which makes acid that can corrode it by degrading sugar and remaining food in the mouth .


this can be prevented by regular teeth brushing. Cargill. and not to eat much sugar .
