the PH value of 4 solutions A, B, C, D and 5,12,8 and 9 arrange them in the increasing of their hydroxylion concentration which solution among them has strong acidic property? what happens if mouth contains the PH of solution A

A=5,B=8,C=9,D=12

Solution A has strong acidic property

If our mouth contains ph of solution of A our tooth starts decaying. Producing gum problems.

(a). The increasing order of the Hydroxyl ion concentration is -

  A (5) < C (8) < D (9) < B (12)

(b). Solution A is the strongest acid in the given solutions .

(c). Our tooth will decay if our mouth contains the pH of solution A . Gum problems will occur as solution A is too much acidic .

  • Hydroxyl ion concentration means concentration of OH^{-} ion .
  • Lesser the pH of a solution , more acidic is the solution .
