If our mouth contains ph of solution of A our tooth starts decaying. Producing gum problems.

(a). The increasing order of the Hydroxyl ion concentration is -
A (5) < C (8) < D (9) < B (12)
(b). Solution A is the strongest acid in the given solutions .
(c). Our tooth will decay if our mouth contains the pH of solution A . Gum problems will occur as solution A is too much acidic .
- Hydroxyl ion concentration means concentration of ion .
- Lesser the pH of a solution , more acidic is the solution .
