PH value of sodium hydroxide is 14 as more than 7 because it is basic in nature and
PH value of dil. hydrochloric acid HCL is 1 and less than 7 as it is acidic in nature .

A) aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide is alkaline so its pH will be more than 7 .

B) dilute HCl is acidic so PH value will be less than 7 .
