During follicular/ proliferative/ estrogenic/ preovulatory phase, secondary follicles are released which grows into tertiary follicle which matures and forms Graafian follicle

In luteal/ secretory/ progesteronic/ post ovulatory phase Graafian follicles ruptures and forms corpus hemorragicum and ultimately forms corpus luteum.
