The picnic site is 60 km from the school .the boys are 40% of the total number of students going for picnic and are 12 in number.The cost of the conveyance is $12 per km .this total cost of refreshments will be $ 4320 . Find

a) if the bus stopped for refreshments at the distance of 21 km from the school ,when per cent of the distance is left to be covered ?

total distance=60 km

distance covered = 21 km because it has stopped

distance still uncovered=39 km

percentage of distance left= 39/60*100

you'll get 65%

thus 65% of the distance is still left
