In one image, the smoke billowing from a living accommodations block once an Israeli air strike was allegedly thickened by the photographer,

• Adnan Hajj, to dramatize the impact of the bombardment – and in another two flares were suspected to possess been added to a picture of an Israeli jet in action over Lebanon.
