Answer:
please attach the picture so I could see where the X is
But as I guess roughly where the X is CO2 will then diffuse into the air in the lungs (alveoli) from blood
hope this helps you

Answer:
The gas exchange actual occur at alveolar level .It is the actual part from where exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide occurs between blood and air-sacs .
Explanation:
- The respiratory system consist of nostrils ,nasal cavity , pharynx ,larynx Trachea ,Bronchi which divides into two and enters the lungs where it further forms more finer vessels called as Bronchi-oles which finally leads to into alveoli .
- All the organs mentioned above except alveoli is a part of respiratory passage .
- The alveoli is surrounded with tuft of capillaries .
- The oxygen via respiratory tract enters the passage and finally reaches alveoli .
- The concentration of oxygen is more in inhaled air therefore ,it diffuses into Blood from where it is carried to all tissues and cells .
- The cells have more concentration of carbon-dioxide therefore ,it diffuses into blood and through blood to alveoli and finally exhaled out .
