Use this example:-

Volume of the cylinder=πr

2

h

=π×0.25×0.25×10.5

=

7

22

×0.25×0.25×10.5

=2.0625cm

3

∴ Volume required to build each pillar=2.0625m

3

Now the total number of pillars=32

Total volume of concrete required=32×2.0625=66

Rate= Rs. 250/m

3

∴ Total cost=66×250=Rs. 16500.
