The pilot would have been killed in the sky, but he didnt. is it a reflection of courage and his skill as a pilot or do you think it was simply divine intervention?

They are trained for staying alive. It's the same thing with the soldiers and marine. They all are respected.

It was the pilot's hope to have that big English breakfast and meet his family that helped him in the storm. Sheer determination and hope can change even the God's will.
