Pashmina is the fine kind of cashmere wool. It was the first woven found in the Kashmir. Pashmina literally means made of wool and it is derived from Persian. This wool has different significance depending on the various breeds of cashmere goats.

Fiber which is come out from these goats have soft touch. Every winter, wool would be uncoated by the goats automatically. One goat has ability to shed 80 to 170 grams of wool.
