Yes, it is true that the places near to the equator are warmer because the sun’s light rays falls directly at the equator due to which places near the equator remain almost hot throughout.


The poles however receives little or slant rays of the sun light due to which they are cooler.

because at equator the sun rays falls directly and at poles the sun rays falls obilige.
