Sun has a gravitational force which keeps the planets on their fixed position and due to that they don't collide but no one knows that they might collide in future as the force would decrease with time.

Planets revolve around the sun in a fixed orbit and doesn't disappear somewhere in the universe because of the gravitational pull of the sun. The sun has gravitational pull but planets offers gravitational pull too, although negligible, enough to keep them intact in their orbits.
All the planets stay in their orbits because of their gravitational forces and the counter gravitational forces of other planets and sun.
