Rutherford proposed it , in which electrons revolve around the nucleus like planets revolve around the sun which is at centre in the solar system.

Rutherford found that atom has a center and the whole mass is concentrated in the nucleus. This model is called planetary model of atom . It can be assumed that parts of an atom are arranged as in the solar system.
