Answer:

10 blocks can be painted

Step-by-step Explanation :

Given : The total Area which can be painted = 93.75m²

Dimension of blocks = 22.5 cm × 10 cm × 7.5 cm

To find : Total Number of Blocks which can be painted = ?

Area that can be painted by container = 93.75m²

= 9375 cm² ( since 1m = 100cm )

Dimension of a block = 22.5 cm x 10 cm x 7.

Surface area of a block = 2(lb + bh + hl)

(where, l = length, b = breadth, h = height of the brick)

Substituting the given value in above formula we get,

Surface area of block = 2(22.5 × 10 + 10 × 7.5 + 7.5 x 22.5)

= 2(225 + 75 + 168.75)

= 2 x 468.75

Surface area of block = 937.5cm²

Number of blocks = Area that can be painted by container / Surface area of a brick

So,

Number of Blocks = 9375 / 937.5

= 10

Hence, 10 blocks can be painted.
