The play ‘The Book that Saved the Earth’ by Claire Boiko, is based on the idea that knowledge that is half-fed is always risky. It also explains how the Earth  has been rescued from the Martian invasion through an old book of rhymes "Mother Goose. Think Tank is the Chief and Mars ' rulers. He is glorified and flattered as the smartest and most strong man of the universe. However, Think Tank gives fantastic and ridiculous interpretations of books. He refers to them as sandwiches. His misunderstandings of' Mother Goose's' rhymes belied all the big claims. He is just a haughty and naive despot who only loves purity and simplicity, sycophancy and flattery . Think — Tanks eventually prevents the Earth invasion by forcing Mars to be completely evacuate.

• The confusion in the Mars' ruler Think-Tank's mind took place owing to the literal interpretation of the nursery rhymes in the book-‘Mother Goose’. Cultural differences must first be addressed by sending mature and wise people from one society to another in order for peace and harmony to be preserved before they choose to wage war. Also, they must build trust and have mutual understanding prior to deciding to wage a battlewar.
• In this case, Think-Tank sent out an initial probe crew, however the members of the initial probe crew were not smart enough or wise enough to grasp Earth's history. That is why the nursery rhymes were interpreted literally and led to confusion in Think-Tank's mind. The book was called sandwiches and then a kind of tool for communication. This indicates they weren't conscious of the culture of the Earthling. Therefore one can only talk of conflict resolution through spreading awareness and harmony.
