Let us assume the the pocket money of :

• Ishan be ₹ 5x
• Raghav be ₹ 7x

Now,

After increasing the pocket money by Rs.225.

•Ishan's pocket money

= Rs. 5x + 225

•Raghav's pocket money

= Rs. 7x + 225

According to Question,

$:\implies\tt\dfrac{5x+225}{7x+225}=\dfrac{3}{4}$

$:\implies\tt{4(5x+225)=3(7x+225)}$

(By cross multiplication)

$:\implies\tt{4\times5x+4\times225=3\times7x+3\times225}$

$:\implies\tt{20x+900=21x+675}$

$:\implies\tt{20x-21x=675-900}$

$:\implies\tt{\cancel-x=\cancel-225}$

$:\implies\tt{x=225}$

Hence,

$\sf\pink{Ishan's \ pocket \ money(5x)=5\times225=Rs.1125}$

$\sf\pink{Raghav's \ pocket \ money(7x)=7\times225=Rs.1575}$
