The pocket money which Ravi and Suman have in their hands are in the ratio 8:9. If Suman has Rs. 198 with her, how much does Ravi have ?

sunilpalIwal851: It is given that ratio is 8:9i.e 8x+9x=somtheing,but 9x=198.so x=198/2=22. IE x=22 so by substituting X in Ravi's we get 8(22)=176 so Ravi has 176rupees

Let the pocket money of Ravi is 8x
and Suman is 9x

ATQ 9X = 198

X = 198/9

X = 22

So Ravi has 8x22 =Rs 176 Answer
