yes,from the perspective of every teenagers they are constantly asked to do this or not to do that after hitting puberty most of the teenagers find it difficult to lead a life the way they love . The societal aspects are so ridiculous.that parents are compelled to do certain things .just like the girl in the poem most of teenagers dream about freedom which is sweet .in the poem the poet shows the struggles faced by teenagers.so, definitely the poem Amanda is acall to give more freedom to teenagers.
