the poem friends and flatterers tell us that our true friends are not those who praises us in good times but those who help us in our time of need or Greek. Narrate some incident in which you were able to differentiate between friends and flatterers.

Answer:

Yes, it is quite right that flattering foes have their own interests and most of the time, they are self centred and think of themselves. They always look for an opportunity to take the advantage of somebody by giving false praise as it happens in the poem the spider and the fly. The fly was innocent and honest but still she was trapped in the spider’s false praise.

On the other hand, true friend will not flatter and always be by your side in the time of your happiness and sadness. They always speak the truth and does not favoured by anything.

Hope it helps! :))
