In the poem the poet remembers how his mother cared him and his siblings. His mother used to put him and his siblings to bed and wake them up in the morning. All mothers are like this, they give first preference to their child's well-being than anything. A mother always find happiness in her son's/daughter's each and every footsep. There are many mothers who sacrificed their passion, desires, health etc for their children.
