Yes, I agree that the poem 'Song of the rain' begins on a simple autobiographical descriptive note, but ends on a philosophical note.

In the beginning the rain says that is like beautiful pearls. These are plucked from the crown of the goddess Ishtar. It looks like these during the dawn or morning when the sun has risen. It has taken its birth from the sea. Then it has risen above in the sky with the help of the breeze.

The poem ends with a kind of blessing to all. The rain bids farewell to all when it departs with love. The rain recollects its various aspects. It is a 'sigh', 'laughter', 'tears' for the 'sea', 'fields' and 'heaven'. It is so with love. It should prove these to these objects. But, it dispenses with these and scatters love to all alike.
