building a wall between neighbours they are walling in distance distrust and privacy and so he doesn't want to build a wall between their properties.

But in contrast the neighbour wants to build it for the security and privacy reasons therefore he thinks that for the privacy and many other reasons a wall is necessary between their properties

Therefore the speaker made a clear note that neither his apple trees nor his neighbour's pine trees are likely to encroach on the property.
